SUMMARY:Gleaning with SoSA
DESCRIPTION:Through the Society of St. Andrews (SoSA)\, volunteer gleaners are utilized to pick leftover produce from harvested fields and/or to bag the crops for donation. Mandarin Lutheran church has been part of the gleaning system for several years.\n\nA SoSA sweet corn gleaning is planned for Friday\, June 4th. A carpool of gleaners will leave from MLC at 8:00 am. Please note: the corn gleaning date is based on God’s crop growing schedule and may be subject to change.\n\nGleaners will also be allowed to keep some of that fresh picked sweet corn!\n\n\nTO BECOME A GLEANER PLEASE REGISTER WITH SoSA:\n\n\nRegister to be a gleaning volunteer at the Society of St. Andrews (SoSA) website https://endhunger.org/serve/\nAfter registering\, go to the SoSA calendar to view and sign up for gleanings\nContact Sue Brown outreach@mandarinlutheran.org
