Teen Sunday School
Teen Sunday School at Mandarin Lutheran is held after worship each week. At these classes, we explore what Scripture has to say in today’s world coupled with discussion of current events and culture. Classes focus on subjects youth are often coping with, but also issues that may also enhance their faith.
Our Instagram page is for youth and youth leaders to promote what is going on in our youth programming and to inspire our youth with references to today's culture.
Youth Gathering
Every three years the ELCA senior high youth come together in the summer for an epic, life-changing Youth Gathering. This event is about faith formation, community service and awareness and building relationships with 30,000 young Lutherans from the US around the world. In a five day period, the youth and adult leaders explore and serve the community, grow in God’s word with the youth of the Florida-Bahamas synod, play games, meet with organizations doing God’s work in the world, experience the culture of the host city, and gather with all participants for worship, music, speakers, and much more. The next Gathering will take place in the summer of 2024 in New Orleans. For more information visit the ELCA Gathering Website.
Children's Sunday School
Sunday school for younger children meets weekly at 10:15 a.m. following worship. Lessons are based on the Holy Moly curriculum. There are also opportunities for children to join in worship with a weekly children's time with Pastor Anna during worship.
